A MESSAGE FROM THE POSTMASTER JOSEPH P. KINNEY UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE, POSTAL CO-CHAIR

I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself to those members of the Greater Philadelphia PCC that I have not yet had the opportunity to meet. I was recently appointed as Postmaster for the City of Philadelphia. The former Postmaster, Mr. Kevin McAdams, has been promoted to the position of District Manager of the Central PA District.

I began my postal career in 1983 as a Letter Carrier in Philadelphia. My previous positions included Manager Customer Service at the Southwark Station in South Philadelphia; Postmaster of Cherry Hill, Mt. Laurel and most recently Camden, NJ.

It is a great to return to the City of Philadelphia and re-establish old friendships and meet many new individuals. As co-chairman of the Greater Philadelphia PCC, I look forward to working along with the members of the Executive Broad to provide educational and informative workshops and meetings for our members.

My commitment as the Postmaster of Philadelphia will be to provide every customer with accurate and timely mail service while working with the community to build a stronger and more viable Postal Service.

I look forward to meeting many of you at our upcoming Golf Outing event as well as our National PCC Day event. Please note our calendar of events for times and locations.
